About us

Sport is our entry point for connection.

Every training session, run, game and tournament is an opportunity to build something bigger than sport.

Who we are

Sikunye Youth Sports Program NPC is a community-based youth initiative rooted in Dimbaza, Eastern Cape. We use sport as a platform for youth development, participation, healthy lifestyles, discipline, teamwork, leadership and positive community engagement.

Sikunye is an umbrella platform through which different sporting divisions and youth-development activities operate under one shared vision: bringing people together through sport and creating meaningful opportunities — especially where access to organised sport is limited.

A training session in Dimbaza

Coaching first, always.

Each week a coach stands in front of the group with a ball at his foot and shows them what to do. The rest is repetition, encouragement and a court that is always open.

Showing up

Being there counts too.

Some play, some watch from the sideline, some just come to be with the group. Every one of them is part of why this works.
